I chose this song for my remixes because it was closest in comparison to my own music. The alt rock/emo/punk/grunge vibe of the song captivates my own personal influences and made this song relatable and easy to work with.

I added a halftime beat in the second chorus section for this song to really dig into the rawness of the message. The first chorus goes really hard, and its easy to really get into howver adding this halftime beat allows room to breathe and the intended message of the section to be heard easier.

This section right here is one of my favorites. I added a reverse siren to usher in the bridge and create tension. This tension breaks away into subtle snaps with a thunderstorm.

Admittedly... this one was just plain me having fun! The goal was to create a live sound recording to be added into the song, and then describe mic placement, and little things I came across while recording. I decided to record my voice singing "All be over soon" as a callback at the end of the chorus bits. This then led to me expirimenting with auto tune and I discovered the T-Pain sound and I thought it actually went really well in the mix so I left it.
